Rescuing stranded fish from the Wallop Brook, July 1938
Photograph of the Wallop Brook taken from Gardeners Cottage looking south-west downstream. Three men are rescuing fish and eels stranded in a pool created when drought conditions in July 1938 caused the water level in the Wallop Brook to fall. The pool is immediately below the mill off Horsebridge Road.
