Correspondence with Dr Parr in January and February 1992 by Miss Mary Ormsby requesting information about the Pig or ingot of lead found at Bossington in 1873.
Dr. Parr's letter replying to Miss Ormsby's request for information about the ingot of Roman lead found near the river test at Bossington. In his letter he says the ingot was found in 1783, but in his book "The Hampshire Broughton" page 13 the date is 1873.
