This is not the Croft Gate. These are the gates ( including the footpath kissing gate ) that were across the entrance to the Drun. The entrance to the Croft is to the right of these gates.
Hello, Can I correct the road it is Rectory Lane not Rookery Lane which is stated underneath the photo. The two men are Bill Brown and Bob Brown. Bob Brown was born in the cottage in 1946.
I think that this may actually be the 1897 Jubilee (not 1887) Robin
